This trip took me forever because I had just found out about the Huggies deal before I left so I had 4 separate transactions to do instead of 3. Luckily my local CVS is awesome so they don’t mind. :) On the first transaction, I decided not to use any extra bucks just to get it out of the way since it involved the Pampers fiasco.
Transaction #1
Pampers diapers x3 ($8.99ea) $26.97 -$1.00 coupon x 3
Lint remover $1.00 (just needed one so figured why not)
Softsoap Body Wash $5.49 -$1.50 CRT (had a $1.00 coupon but couldn’t find it)
Total $33.46
-$5/30 CVS coupon
-$4.50 coupons
$25.58 OOP
$15.00 ECB received = $10.58 spent
Transaction #2
Dove Shampoo x2 ($3.50ea) $7.00 -$1.00 coupon x 2
Dove Conditioner $3.50 (I couldn’t find my 3rd $1.00 off coupon :()
Dove Deodorant x4 ($2.50ea) -$1.50/2 coupon x 2
Total $20.50
-$4/20 CVS coupon
-$5.00 coupons
-$10.00 ECB used
$1.89 OOP
$10.00 ECB received = $8.11 profit
Transaction #3
Pringles x2 ($1.50ea) $3.00 -$1.00 coupon
Gillette Fusion bonus pack $7.99 -$4.00 coupon
Banana Boat Lotion $7.39 -$2.00 coupon
Banana Boat Spray $9.49 -$2.00 coupon
Total $27.87
-$5/25 CVS coupon
-$17 ECB used
$2.43 OOP
$11.00 ECB received = $8.57 profit
Transaction #4
Dawn dishsoap x2 ($1.00ea) $2.00 -$0.20 coupon x 2
CVS cookies x2 ($2.00ea) $4.00 -$1.00 CRT x 2
Wheat Thins $2.00 -$1.00 coupon
Triscuit $2.00 -$1.00 coupon
Head & Shoulders shampoo $4.99 -$2.00 coupon
Newspaper $1.25
Total $16.24
-$3/15 CVS coupon
-$6.40 coupons
-$6.84 (adjusted) ECB used
$0.24 OOP
$3.00 ECB received = $2.76 profit
So even including my initial purchase of 3 package of diapers without using any ECB, I’m still at a total profit of $8.86 for the day!
